On July 2nd, 2013 our school collective as well as collective from school „Vuk Karadzić“ Resavica visited Sokobanja, a well-known spa town and municipality in eastern Serbia.
It is one of the most often visited resorts in the country, and belongs to a group of renowned tourist centers with the longest tradition of organized tourism. What makes Sokobanja attractive are its thermal mineral waters, ideal height above the sea level, moderate continental climate, pure mountain air rich with oxygen, and beautiful untouched nature. The photographs from this one day short trip, displayed in the gallery, present a great mountainous scenery filled with enjoyable and entertaining moments. The surrounding area of Sokobanja has many picnic sites and forest paths and during summer, guests can bathe at managed bathing sites on the Moravica river, Bovansko Jezero lake, which are also ideal for fishing. The medieval fortress Sokograd, and termo-mineral springs particularly drew our attention and managed to captivate us for a whole day admiring their breathtaking beauty. The overall experience in this divine like place was unforgettable, making us wanting to come back and fell its charm once again
